Download the JSON stroke data. It contains all 208 hiragana and katakana entries used by the app, including the adapted combination kana.
Sources and changes
The original drawings come from the matching kanji/<Unicode code point>.svg files in the KanjiVG source repository. The JSON's paths[].source.file identifies each drawing and paths[].source.order identifies its original stroke number. The bundled source copies are in src/content/strokes/source/ in the Moji Kana project.
We extracted each SVG's ordered stroke paths into JSON. For combination kana, the first character's strokes are scaled to 0.72 and translated by (-2, 3); the small character's strokes are scaled to 0.48 and translated by (54, 43). The first character's strokes come first, followed by the small character's strokes. We renumbered the combined sequence. Single-character guides retain the original paths without a transform.
Reading the data
The drawing area is 0 0 109 109. Each entry has a stable kanaId, the component chars, and ordered paths. Each path includes SVG path data d, display order, and its source. If transform is present, render with translate(x y) scale(scale): a source point becomes (scale * x_original + x, scale * y_original + y). Omitting these transforms would lose the adapted combination layout.
